School Arrival Times & Morning Procedures

Please do not park in the fire lane at any time.
Even if you plan to stop for just a moment, please plan ahead and avoid using the fire lane. Keeping this area clear is essential for the safety of all students, staff, and emergency responders.

Make sure all children are properly secured in vehicles.
Please ensure that children are safely buckled in with the appropriate seatbelt or car seat before leaving school. JBER Military Police periodically conduct safety checks near our school and may stop vehicles if children are not properly restrained.

Thank you for your patience during carline.
We know pickup can sometimes take a little longer than anyone would like. Our students are young, and it takes time for them to safely transition from the building to their vehicles. Whether you are walking up to pick up your child or waiting in the carline, we appreciate your patience and kindness. Our shared goal is to get every child home safely and efficiently.

Mondays

On Mondays, school starts at 9:00 AM. Staff use the time before school for Professional Learning Community (PLC) meetings, where teachers work together to review student progress and plan instruction to best support learning.

Breakfast

• Begins at 8:30 AM
• Students eating breakfast should enter through the front office doors
• Supervision is provided in the cafeteria

Non-Breakfast Arrival

• Students may arrive beginning at 8:40 AM
• Students should go directly to the playground and line up with their class
• Staff supervision begins at 8:40 AM

Please do not drop off students before these times unless they are eating breakfast.

Tuesday–Friday

School starts at 8:00 AM.

Breakfast

• Begins at 7:30 AM
• Students eating breakfast should enter through the front office doors
• Supervision is provided in the cafeteria

Non-Breakfast Arrival

• Students may arrive beginning at 7:40 AM
• Students should go directly to the playground and line up with their class
• Staff supervision begins at 7:40 AM

Please do not drop off students before these times unless they are eating breakfast.

Additional Reminders

• Students eating breakfast should always enter through the front office doors.
• Students not eating breakfast should go directly to the playground and line up with their class.
• Students are brought inside 10 minutes before school starts.
• Please send students dressed appropriately for the weather. Students generally line up outdoors unless severe weather or wildlife concerns require an indoor arrival.
